BOUTIQUE CINEMAS

About Us

HISTORY

Screening Room Cinemas is a division of The Screening Room Inc., one of the first companies involved with developing boutique cinemas using digital technology.  â€‹

Our flagship site, The Screening Room Cinema Café, is often noted as one of the country's first boutique cinema venues, having been in full-time operation since 1994.

Screening Room founder Bob Golibersuch  has spent the last 25+ years visiting,

evaluating and consulting for wide variety of boutique and digital

cinema projects nationwide.  Bob has been the featured

speaker at ShoWest (CinemaCon),  The Director's Guild, The Toronto

International Film FestivalThe Screen Trade Seriesand other industry events about

the future of exhibition.  Bob previously  worked in management/marketing with

General Cinema Corporation and as Director of Movie Acquisitions for

Digiscreen (Montreal) and Indie Film Net (New York).

THE BOUTIQUE CINEMA DEVELOPMENT GROUP.

A network of resources to assist potential cinema operators

in developing new projects and property/venue owners

in adding a cinema concept to an existing space.

BOUTIQUE CINEMAS.

Small in Size...Big in Potential.

The Boutique Cinema concept is one of the newest and most

popular trends in movie exhibition today, offering a more intimate, upscale,

adult-friendly movie going experience.   The flexible seating design can include luxury high backs, banquettes, cafe tables, bar stools, bean bag chairs

and/or traditional theater seating.

Normally a café or bar is located separately within the operation

and can be used as both a lobby and stand alone business.

The Magic of a Movie Theater.

HELP MAKE AN IMPACT ON YOUR COMMUNITY.

There is almost no other commercial business that can match the excitement and magic of a movie theaterand the connection it has with it's community.

Boutique cinemas combine the magic of the movies with the

natural appeal of a coffeehouse, cafe or wine bar to create a true destination

spot and  experience-driven business.
